About Us
“Working with Nexus studios was not only one of the coolest places I've been to but also down to Earth, Jason (our engineer) was more than capable in anything we asked him to do! Trust me we were less than fully prepared and without Jason's knowledge and expertise we would not have came out with the record we did. Nexus did an excellent job accommodating to us both pre and post production. Our music sounded awesome! Not to mention a relaxed & comfortable environment to record in. I would recommend this studio to anyone in the San Antonio area!”

Here at Nexus Studio we believe that the studio and the engineer are the link between your musical idea and a tangible recording. That's why we relentlessly pursue the best in recording techniques and apply them in artistic ways to get what you have in your head down on a professional recording.

He has been working with Pro Tools for more than 20 years and playing music since 1985.
Jason has recorded scores of groups and solo performers.
He has worked in every genre of music including Rock, Blues, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Gospel.
The talent he has recorded includes Heather Leather, Mark Searcy Band, BIGWOOD, The Walkoffs, C5, 40 Watt Roger, Livola, Trina, Jarrett Michael and Electric Ocean.
Jason enjoys the art and challenge of capturing a musical idea on record.
He says, “I enjoy taking an idea for a song and making it a reality- capturing it in a tangible form. That’s where the creative and artistic part comes in for me. As we say here you’ve got to capture the soul of the song on tape.”
